British Gymnast, Kelly Simm, joins Row Britannia
Kelly is an all around Artistic Gymnast representing Great Britain. In 2014, Kelly became English Floor and British Vault Champion and later went on to win Team Gold with England at the Commonwealth Games.
In 2015, she represented Team GB at the first ever European games and then later that year became GBR's first female World University All Around Champion, taking a total of three medals away from the games. At the end of 2015, she was part of the Historic Team that Won the Bronze Medal in Glasgow at the World Championships.
2016 and 2017 proved to be a difficult year with injuries for Kelly, however in 2018 she was crowned British All Around Champion and British Bars Champion as well as claiming a Bronze on the Beam. Kelly then went on to win Beam Bronze and Team Silver at the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast. She then helped team GB to a 4th place finish at European Championships in Glasgow, as well as qualifying into the European bars final. Most recently, she has just returned from the world championships in Doha, placing 19th in the all around final.
We are delighted that Kelly has joined Row Britannia and will be visiting Solent University on the 10th January 2020 between 10 and 1130am.
