Double Paralympic Medallist, World and National Champion, Lucy Shuker joins Row Britannia

Lucy is a Paralympic Wheelchair Tennis Player and a Double Paralympic Medallist, former World Doubles Champion, four time Wimbledon Double’s Finalist, Multiple World Team Cup medallist and National Champion.  She has over 100 career titles to her name and has been recognised on the Shaw Trust Power 100 List 2018 as one of Britain’s most influential disabled people.


Lucy has represented Great Britain at three successive Paralympic Games; Beijing in 2008, London in 2012 and Rio in 2016. Lucy and her Doubles Partner, Jordanne Whiley, made history in London at the 2012 Paralympics when they become the first women to win a medal for Great Britain in Wheelchair Tennis and secured Bronze.  Lucy and Jordanne retained their Bronze medal status at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio. She has her sights firmly set on Tokyo and Lucy will aim to represent Great Britain at a fourth consecutive Paralympic Games in 2020. 


We are delighted Lucy has joined Row Britannia and she will be visiting Kingston University on Friday 28th February 2020 between 12noon and 1.30pm.
