We are sincerely grateful to Gavin for championing the BRIT 2021 Challenge and encouraging GB athletes to join our BRIT Ambassador family in order to support and improve young adult mental health throughout the UK.
“I’m thrilled to join the BRIT Ambassador family to support and improve young adult mental health and fitness throughout the UK.
The COVID-19 pandemic is affecting all of our lives and it is having a huge impact on those who are already facing mental health difficulties; particularly young adults. I am delighted to enable our GB Luge Team and athletes to support UK universities and colleges as they take on their BRIT 2021 Challenge.
The BRIT 2021 Challenge is an exciting opportunity that has huge potential to engage and support the 5 million Higher and Further Education students in UK universities and colleges.
There are 450 UK universities and colleges. BRIT is inviting current and retired Olympians, Paralympians and sports personalities to join the BRIT Ambassador family and champion the BRIT 2021 Challenge at as many institutions as possible. This is a time when we need to unite as athletes and encourage student and staff participation; together we have the potential to support young adult mental health throughout the UK.
I look forward to encouraging students and staff at Durham University to take on the BRIT 2021 Challenge and urging our Great Britain athletes to unite and join the BRIT family”.
