Thank you to ColegauCymru/Colleges Wales for supporting BRIT & championing the BRIT Challenge

We were delighted that ColegauCymru continued to support BRIT this year and championed the BRIT 2021 Challenge.

It has been a pleasure to develop a special relationship with ColegauCymru over the past three years. We are sincerely grateful to Iestyn Davies, Chief Executive Officer, and Rob Baynham, Sports Coordinator, for all their help and support to promote our BRIT 2020 Row Britannia Challenge in 2019/20 and our BRIT 2021 Challenge this year.

Our aspiration is that every college in Wales embraces our annual BRIT Challenge, enters teams and encourages their students and staff to take part.

Pre-BRIT 2021 Challenge, Iestyn Davies, Chief Executive of Colegau Cymru said;

"Colleges in Wales are taking an active role in developing new interventions that promote positive mental health and improved wellbeing of learners through participation in sport and physical activity.

The British Inspiration Trust’s BRIT 2021 Challenge presents a great opportunity for colleges and their learners to engage in a physical challenge, improve their mental health and fitness, raise awareness of mental health issues among young people in Wales and raise vital funds."

The BRIT 2021 Challenge is an inclusive and accessible event that has the potential to engage young adults throughout Wales, be they on campus or at home. We need all our Welsh universities and colleges to champion this opportunity, register teams and encourage student participation.”
