The University of St Andrews supports BRIT and takes on the BRIT 2021 Challenge

We are delighted that the University of St Andrews have registered a team for the BRIT 2021 Challenge and are championing the challenge in Scotland.

The University of St Andrews and the University of St Andrews Students' Association have embraced all our BRIT Challenges with an abundance of enthusiasm and energy. Not only have they championed the opportunity for their own students and staff to participate in our annual BRIT Challenge; they have championed our BRIT Challenges in press releases and through social media platforms to ensure every university and college in Scotland are aware of the opportunity to take part. This will increase the ability for all students and staff in Scottish universities and colleges to enter teams in order to support and improve young adult mental health and fitness.

We are sincerely grateful to all the students and staff at the University of St Andrews who are taking on the BRIT 2021 Challenge and appreciate the tremendous support from Professor Sally Mapstone, Duncan Caithness, Fiona MacLeod and Fiona Thompson.

“The University of St Andrews has supported British Inspiration Trust events and campaigns since 2012, most recently last year when our students and staff participated in the BRIT 2020 Row Britannia Challenge.

We are proud to partner with an organisation which espouses increased awareness of young adult mental health, a cause which has this year proven itself to be more important than ever before.

Fostering positive mental health across University community will continue to be a priority for us as an institution which is why we are pleased to champion the UK-wide BRIT 2021 Challenge – and we hope that other institutions join us in so doing.”
