Napier University, Edinburgh, welcome and host Row Britannia

The support and generosity from The Scot Group (Thrifty Cars and FlexiFleet) has been tremendous.

The Row Britannia vehicle was secured with just one week to go before the five month tour of the UK started. Firstly, our thanks go out to Lewis Basterfield at Select Car Leasing for introducing us to Gary MacDonald at The Scot Group (Thrifty and FlexiFleet).

The generosity and support from Gary and Chris Bagwell (who coordinated their support) at The Scot Group was awesome and the Row Britannia vehicle was delivered within 4 days of our initial introduction. Their kindness and charitable support has enabled us to set off on the 5-month UK-wide tour so we can visit and thank students and staff at every host university and college.

We must also thank Richard Weston at South Central Engineering Limited for fitting Hand Controls to the vehicle with just 48hours notice. His support ensured the car is fully adaptive.

Finally, out thanks go out to Andrew and Sam at All Sport Insurance for providing a very generous charitable rate for our Row Britannia vehicle insurance.

With one day to go before we set off, the vehicle was wrapped with the Row Britannia and Sport Relief artwork by Joyce Design who also wrapped our Row Britannia Ocean Row Boat.

We are sincerely grateful to Gary and Chris at The Scot Group (Thrifty and FlexiFleet), Richard at South Central Engineering Ltd, Andrew and Sam at All Sport Insurance and the team at Joyce Design for delivering the Row Britannia vehicle in 5 days and enabling our UK-wide tour to take place.
